Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said, Vietnam's economic growth rate is very fast in recent years, after 30 years of renovation, Vietnam has changed. The capital source is more diversified, including mobilization of private sector. The Government of Vietnam encourages some types of investment through public-private partnerships (PPP), especially for large projects to create better conditions for project implementation when the government budget limited.

The Ministry of Construction is the government management orgainization in the field of construction, therefore it is good to have support from PFI, especially in planning legal documents related to PPP investment forms. Hopefully, many units in the Ministry of Construction will have more specific exchanges after the meeting today.

Mr. Kazuo Ueda also expressed his thanks to the Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh and shortly introduced PFI. He wished that PFI will be a bridge between Vietnam and Japan to further promote the implementation of PPP in Vietnam.
